The food here has the ‘wow’ factor. I have been longing for good lamb since my stay in Wales. Honestly, if you stay in Gower, this is the place you should come and try. I was struggling to find a slow cooked lamb steak meal in Gower, though lamb is what Gower is famous for. I looked around on Google maps for some decent rating restaurant and I found this place! I was in luck as they make a delicious slow cooked lamb, which is absolutely tasty! Just so tender and the lamb truly melts in your mouth. The glazing of honey very well done. Also their specialty sea bass and all the seafood were very good as well! Make sure you get a main with saute potatoes because the sauce will blow your mind! The texture and the taste were just fantastic!Strongly recommended

Fabulous find, Chris, the barman, made us feel so welcome, we stayed for lunch. Exquisite, fragrant, Sea Bass cooked so delicately it absolutely melted in the mouth. Finished off with a loaded Pecan pie that was a sugar fiends delight! So relaxing that we are coming here with our dogs next year to enjoy a stay and more delicious food. Thank you for your hospitality.

Food was very homely but done to absolute perfection. Staff were fantastic and were lovely to chat with. I am a big fan of slow food done properly and this is a perfect example, well worth the wait! An excellent watering hole with an even more fantastic eatery. Very impressed!

The Crofty is a fabulous Welsh pub with fantastic menus including lots of local fish dishes. Traditional Welsh breakfasts (and several others too). Service is amazing, nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff and Wendy will adjust her large range of dishes to accommodate all sorts of special dietary requirements. Generous proportions with good range of veg. Great local beer too and all at reasonable prices.
